Light rail system LYNX (15.5 km with 15 stops) opened 24 Nov 2007. Blue Line - operating every 7.5 min during peak hours, and every 15 min at other times. Rolling stock: Siemens Avanto S70, standard gauge Part of the route is shared by the Charlotte Trolley, a heritage tram line.
