The Green Line was to become a 20 km LRT line running partly underground from Eau Claire in the city centre towards the southeast, initially to Lynnwood/Millican and later to Shepard. However, in 2025, the downtown segment was shelved with the line starting from a temporary terminus Event Centre/Grand Central on the eastern edge of downtown. Unlike the two existing lines, the new line will be operated with low-floor vehicles. [ Green Line Project Website ]
